A Month With a Phone

After a little over a month of having a phone I think I may finally have this whole mobile communications thing down. It was rough at first though...

I often sent nonsensical texts to people, so they had no idea what I was talking about. I somehow thought that by sending the word "bildr" people would know that I actually meant "asleep". I had no idea that I should turn off my phone while I was in class. And once I finally learned its not cool with college professors to have your phone ringing, I would just forget to turn it on silent anyways. I never could figure out how to make my phone vibrate when I wanted it to. And it seemed like I would always miss every text I got because the vibrate level was so low. People would wake me up from naps when I really just wanted some sleep urgh. Also I had to deal with texts from people I really just wanted to avoid. How could I ever get away from them if they had my number...

But I have slowing grown accustomed to it and I know the phone pretty well now. It hasn't gone off in class in a while, and I can actually text people and they will understand what I am saying to them. I am used to not being as sexily mysterious as I once was, and people seem to think I am a little less weird.
